My father, Zhiwen Wang has been illegally detained since July 20th, 1999 because he is a Falun Gong Practitioner. Falun Gong emphasizes being a good person by following Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and practicing qigong exercises.

My father and I have been kept apart and my only contact with him has been limited to a few letters, which are monitored by prison guards. My dad is an innocent man and has always been a loving and kind person, who even encourages me from his jail cell.

As a daughter, it is my responsibility to speak out for him, and I ask from the bottom of my heart for your support in securing his release.
